SADDLE AND SPUR was established at Republic Mo
USA in the fall of 1982 by the late George Blades and his wife Brenda.
Margaret Roberts-Brown bought them out in March 1986. Saddle & Spur
has always specialized in gaited horses primarily walking horses, fox trotters,
and backyard horses. The last few years we have expanded into Society
Horse Shows, Expos & Reining horses. We carry basic types of equipment
for most riding styles. All are quality products at a reasonable
price. Our main saddle supplier is Circle Y. We offer a full line of
veterinary products and grooming supplies along with our line of tack.

We have been involved
with Fox Trotters all our lives. My Grandfather and Great Uncle
were founders in the breed. I used to have time to show, and now
specializing in selling equipment for them. Our store
specializes in Fox Trotters, but we carry equipment for all types of
riding & styles. Bear Creek Ranch and Saddle & Spur are
located in Springfield MO USA. We also raise performance bred
quarter horses , and always have our Fox Trotters. We have been
raising and developing these good horses for 23 years. The base
of our program is a Boon Bar Son, out of a AQHA Superior mare, crossed
on foundation mares. "Boon" is producing cutting,
reining, working cow, and roping horses.
